Fire!
As you may have heard, our office sustained an office fire on April 11, 2008. Patients were scheduled until 1:00 that day and the last employee left around 1:30. Around 4:00 p.m. that day a call was made to the Hudsonville Fire department that suspicious looking smoke was coming out of our roof vents. The fire was determined to be electrical in nature and all of the contents and equipment were a total loss. If items were not burned or melted, they were so damaged by the smoke and soot that they were unusable. The structure of the building was still sound, due to fire walls that were put in when the office was built, but inside the office had to be demolished down to the studs.
We moved our office to a temporary location in the same building for about 8 months while the office was rebuilt. Because all of our records are digital, all patient charts, x-rays, and information are secure and intact. With a lot of help from our dental suppliers, and thanks to our digital records, we were able to start seeing patients again within one week!
Now our office is all rebuilt everything is brand new! With the latest in dental technology, we are able to provide you with superior dental care!
