Appointment Policy

We are very pleased that you have chosen our practice as your dental care provider. We are committed to providing you and your family with a wonderful dental experience and superior dental treatment.

Confirming Appointments:

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, therefore we do require all appointments to be confirmed at least 3 days prior to your visit. If an appointment is not confirmed by this time, it will be offered to another patient who is waiting to get in.

Late Arrival:

If you arrive later than your appointment time, it may be necessary to reschedule the appointment, or you may be asked to wait longer than usual. Our team will do our best to complete all services but if time constraints exist, some services may need to be rescheduled for a later date. This ensures that we meet our patient’s expectations and remain on schedule.

Missed or Canceled Appointments:

We understand that circumstances arise that may prevent you from keeping your reserved time. Failed appointments affect the time we are able to offer those who may be in urgent need of care. Because cancellations with less than 48 hours notice as well as no shows affect our ability to help other patients, we do require 48 hours notice to change an appointment to avoid a $50 missed appointment fee. If there are multiple no shows or late cancellations your account will be reviewed by the doctor for non-compliance or dismissal.

**Due to the insurance contract with Healthy Kids, after 1 failed appointment, we will only be able to reschedule on a same day only basis. This means that if you want to reschedule, you can call us in the morning to see if we’ve had a change in our schedule that would allow you to be seen that day. If two appointments in the same family are canceled with less than 48 hours notice, we will be unable to schedule any additional appointments for your family.
