Dr. Bradley Dykstra founded Hudsonville Dental in 1978. He was born and raised in Shelby, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Calvin College, graduated from the University of Michigan’s Dental School, and then moved to Hudsonville to start his own practice. Dr. Dykstra has recently obtained his MBA from Grand Valley State University.
Dr. Dykstra is a huge advocate of continuing education and completes well over the minimum requirement at over 100 hours a year. He is fervently keeping up with the changes in current technology, as well as the latest procedures, techniques, and materials in dentistry.
In addition to his involvement in dental organizations, Dr. Dykstra is also involved in the Hudsonville Chamber of Commerce, Hudsonville DDA, and Zeeland Hospital Board of Directors. In his spare time, Dr. Dykstra enjoys sailing, learning, traveling, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Dr. Dykstra loves working with people, creating beautiful smiles, and the challenge of keeping up with the latest procedures, techniques, and materials in dentistry.
Dr. Dykstra is also a well-respected authority on dental technology and the digital office in the dental field. He gives seminars around the United States on topics like digital radiography and the digital dental office, among other things. He speaks regularly for Practiceworks (Kodak), and has also spoken for the Michigan Dental Association, New Orleans Dental Conference, 3rd District Dental Society of New York, and the Seattle Study Club, among others.

Dr. Brian Yared joined Hudsonville Dental in October 2005. Raised in Forest Hills, he is a long time resident of West Michigan. While attending Lyman Briggs Residential College at Michigan State University, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology. Dr. Yared received his doctorate from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2003, all the while maintaining his Spartan allegiance.
Since graduating, Dr. Yared has worked in dental offices in Cascade and Wyoming. During this time he has gained a diversity of knowledge as well as an appreciation for all patients. Dr. Yared values the personal interaction, the individuality of each patient, and the progressive science of his chosen profession.
Dr. Yared is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, West Michigan Dental Society, and Kent County Dental Society.For leisure, Dr. Yared spends time with his wife and son, other family and friends, enjoys sports, and cares for his yellow Labrador puppy.

Dr. Dale Schuur joined Hudsonville Dental in December 2012.
Dr.Schuur grew up in Marne, Michigan, and graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. His main focus is helping people achieve their ideal dental health level. His favorite aspect of dentistry is cosmetic restoration and rehabilitation.
In his free time, Dr. Schuur enjoys spending time with his wife and showing dogs. He is currently an AKC dog show judge and has also been the president of the AKC.
He has shown and bred dogs for over 31 years. Dr. Schuur also keeps active in the community through church activities, dog clubs, and car clubs.
Dr. Joshua Peiffer joined Hudsonville Dental in May 2013.
Dr. Peiffer was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan and graduated from Traverse City Central High School before attending Northwestern Michigan College and transferring to Michigan State University where he earned his BSC in Human Biology. This is where he determined that he wanted to help people and have a career in medicine.
Dr. Peiffer earned his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and began his career in northern Michigan before moving to Hudsonville where he met his wife, a Hudsonville native. They had their first baby boy in September 2013. Aside from enjoying family time, Dr. Peiffer likes being on the water, golfing, playing ice hockey, snowboarding, hunting, and fishing.
Dr. Schell joined Hudsonville Dental in July 2015 after graduating from the University of Michigan and completing a residency program with the VA.
He was an active student leader in the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association and continued his memberships after graduation.
Dentistry’s draw to Dr. Schell starts with patient interactions. He believes in evaluating the patient as an individual and works to increase their oral health while helping patients achieve a great smile.
Dr. Schell and his wife Courtney moved back to West Michigan to raise their children, Hunter and Mila, in the area they both love. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, boating, golf, and watching sports, especially University of Michigan and Detroit sports.
Dr. Kloostra is a Grand Rapids native. She graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School and then Calvin College. She went on to the University of Michigan, where she went through Dental School and then the pediatric residency program.
She joined Hudsonville Dental Kids in February 2015. Her favorite part of being a pediatric dentist is teaching and helping kids cope with their fears and anxieties about going to the dentist. She loves to see them grow and to gain confidence each time she sees them.
In her spare time, Dr. Kloostra loves to spend time with her Golden Retriever Ella, her family, and her friends. She loves playing board games and strategy games (especially Settlers of Catan). In the summer she loves to swim, go to Lake Michigan, and enjoy the beach, while in the winter months she enjoys skiing. She loves to travel and enjoys eating at new and different restaurants anywhere she goes.

Dr. Schell joined Hudsonville Dental in July 2018.
He was born and raised in Traverse City, MI. As a child Dr. Schell remembers being fascinated with the health field, which eventually led him to pursue a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. During this time his fascination and passion for serving others only intensified. Dr. Schell continued his education in dentistry by attending the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014. He found that dentistry has a perfect balance between serving others and guiding patients to not only stable oral health, but also systemic health.
During dental school, Dr. Schell and a handful of students, organized, led, and worked clinics that serve veterans who do not have access to dental care. The program is called Victors for Veterans and is now becoming incorporated into the U of M Outreach Program. The work Dr. Schell and his colleagues did was completely free. He had the pleasure of serving in around 16 clinics during his time at U of M.
Dr. Schell & his wife Megan got married in June 2018 and have a dog named Charlie. Along with spending time with family, Dr. Schell and his wife Megan enjoy traveling the world and find joy in immersing themselves in different cultures/perspectives. When they are not traveling, the two enjoy outdoor activities including hiking and boating.
