“Healthcare has always been something I’ve been interested in. I like the idea of working with my hands (I’m the daughter of a general contractor – I’ve always seen my dad work with his hands and create beautiful things as a kid, and I feel like I do that on a VERY small scale!). Even better, the best thing about pediatric dentistry is you get to see kids on a very regular basis and watch them grow and develop and be an integral part of that.”
“I am a board-certified pediatric dentist and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I also received the Richard Pugh Achievement Award, which was awarded to the top three percent of board candidates, which was a very exciting achievement!
“Yes! I have had three articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Dental Education, Special Care in Dentistry, and Pediatric Dentistry. The articles I wrote were all regarding helping patients with autism spectrum disorders access the dental care they need and deserve.”
“I have many interests! I love traveling and seeing the world with my husband, Jameson. We love trying new restaurants and new foods together. We also have a dog, Desmond Howard – he is an 8-year-old cockapoo pup and we love him dearly. I also love to be active, taking barre and spin classes.”
